Welcome to the beginning of another new year!  I think this year will be a great one if you put yourself to the test. You want to focus on yourself and look back with a sense of accomplishment, right?  No better way to do that then setting your priorities and in my world, that means health comes first.

That's right, health first. So this means taking care of yourself, which should be your #1 priority but often is put on the back burner or just disregarded. Actively putting your health first means that it becomes more important than your spouse, your kids, your job, your friends and social life!  If you put that in focus, then you will find a way to make time to take that class, hit the gym or do that video. There is always time, always a way. You just have to make it your first job you are hired to do each day.

Whether you are on a vacation, working two jobs while in school, recently unemployed, single, divorced, skinny, fat, happy or sad or you just won the lotto - staying fit (exercising) has to be your number one priority that you work everything around. No excuses. No I have no time. No I don't have the energy.

It is a CHOICE.  I tell my kids everyday that life is journey filled with choices. How you choose to handle yourself everyday shapes who you are and who you will become. Make the right choice.
